Lumin de Lumine

 

I really don't know what to say. Paling hensem? Never dreamed of it, really. I'm really flattered. Probably if you meet me in real life you'll retract the award, heheh.

If I ever hold such an event in my blog, I'll put you two up in the rankings Paling hensem/jelita ok? But now, this blog is just an infant, masih belum layak untuk memberi award pada sesiapa.

Anyway, the title of this post is related to a tribute for a character I had created in a story I have written. A fellow writer from the United States apparently likes the character so much that he had used it as a template for a character in his story. We kept in touch occasionally via emails to exchange ideas, and as I really enjoyed reading his stories. Lumin de Lumine is a Latin phrase, meaning "light from light". The story which I had the character in was of warriors with elemental powers. Five of them in total, three guys, two girls. One guy, the main protagonist of the story, bears the elemental power of Light, and that is the character that my e-penpal likes so much. All five characters have their own fans from the lukewarm correspondences I have received, but apparently the Light guy stood out more. As for the story itself, while it isn't really a popular story in the fandom it is set in, but I've seen flattering comments floating around several forums on the net whenever I Googled the story title.

But.....that's something I have set to rest early this year upon completing it, wanting to focus on what I have in my hands now. It has been fun, and it has kept the imaginative side of my mind at bay.

p/s: By the way, this is a scheduled post, set to update on Saturday night. I will be busy till Monday and I feel like updating. And the credits for these awards were long overdue.
