Home Alone

When I moved in to my uncle's condo, he gave me a heads-up that on this weekend and the next he won't be around because of work commitments. I said that it's not a problem: I've lived alone before, I've travelled alone, I think I can handle it.

Today I have the whole house to myself - my uncle went on a fishing trip with his friends and clients somewhere up north this morning, on a yacht 40km from the shore of a sea. Spending a couple of days on the sea....I get seasick just by thinking of it. Heheh.

Anyway, what to do now that I'm on my own. I got permissions to invite a friend over, or to go spend a night at a friend's house, but I think I'll pass on both offers. Still got loads of stuff to read for tomorrow's test, and lots of DVDs to catch up with. The picture below speaks for itself, one might think I'm an illegal DVD seller. Let's see here: I got Supernatural Season Three boxset, L:Change the World, Iron Man, Kungfu Panda, Scorpion King II, Pathology, Love Guru and You Don't Mess with the Zohan. Lots of catching up to do. So far I've watched four DVDs.

My uncle also has a kitten in the house. However, cute as the kitten is, we saw that he has a major case of KUTU!!! No way he's getting in the house then, fleas can be real major pest problem. So we have no choice but to just put him out at the condo's balcony. Don't report me of cat abuse, I am responsible in keeping the kitten fed and had to watch out for its nature calls and all that, because probably in indignant retaliation of us keeping it out the kitten decided to exact its vengeance by crapping outside its litter box. Lagi buat orang nak buang adalah. Getting it de-flead would be expensive methinks, and it has begun scratching the sofas and whatever it could sink its claws into. Whenever my uncle's kids came over during the weekends the kitten would always chase them around. It's being playful of course, but not all people can stand its playful biting and clawing on the feet. Suddenly I miss Kiro; my exroommate told me that Kiro had diarrhea for a week now. Poor guy.

After going for Friday prayers today - the mosque is just 500m away, so convenient - I strolled around the condo area and thought that this view is quite beautiful. I think I have suitable outfits to take a dip in these swimming pools. One of these days I'll go swim there.

 

I wish I have a very pale complexion so that I can lounge around here sunbathing to get a tan. However I'm tanned enough now, don't wanna risk turning to a buntut-kuali...I still am bearing the evidence of sunburn from the Sunway Lagoon trip with my family. I didn't blog about it yet. I will soon.

Planning to take the bus from now on so have to memorize the routes. Bus is way cheaper than taxi and less risk of getting conned.
